Help restore the $2 million budget cuts to the State Library! Contact your state representatives and let them know that the threatened program cuts will SAVE public libraries $75 million annually!
What are the proposed cuts?
- the ConnectiCard system, whereby any CT resident with a valid library card can use any public library throughout the state;
- the ConnectiCar delivery system that moves the materials around the state to the home libraries;
- the CLC cooperative service centers that negotiate vendor discounts for public and school libraries, including databases, public performers, book discounts and more.
